Sometimes you just need a little chocolate pudding to deal with the hills and valleys of life. That being said, traditional chocolate comfort will just make you fat and then you’ll be dealing with a lot more valleys than hills. Here’s a five minute mousse recipe that will satisfy AND nourish you.
YOU WILL NEED (serves 1-2 depending on how PMSy you are - double recipe as needed):
1 ripe avocado
2 medjool dates, pitted
2-3 tbsp cacao powder
1/4 cup hemp milk (or any non-dairy milk)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Dash Himalayan salt
WHAT TO DO:
Blend in a food processor or Vitamix, starting with the dates and hemp milk. Add more liquid as needed. Freeze for 30 minutes for best consistency. Can also be frozen into fudgesicles.
