Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

Ok first of all I don't ever use salt but apparently that's not a thing most people are ok with. In order to be able to offer guests at my house the option to salt their dishes I decided to by some to have on hand.

After realizing that normal table salt has the nutritional equivalency of that shit you throw on ice after it snows, I couldn't bring myself to buy it.

HERE'S WHY

Table salt is a highly refined product, containing 99% sodium chloride. Additives may be also added to prevent clumping and better the pouring process. Aluminum hydroxide is sometimes used, which deposits to our brains and is related to Alzheimer’s Disease.

Pink Himalayan sea salt, on the other hand, is 85% sodium chloride, where the other 15% is a combination of 85 different minerals – most notably iron oxide, calcium, potassium, and magnesium.

Plus it's kind of pretty....
