Raw Mushroom Burger
This is one of those dishes you make and then don't want to eat it because it's so pretty. Bonus for the fact that it takes 5 minutes to prepare. If you want to amp up the protein content I recommend adding a veggie burger, especially since this entire burger is very low-cal. The biggest benefit is it's high level of Vitamin D which is hard to obtain through food.
YOU WILL NEED:
- 1 raw Portobello mushroom
- Romaine
- Sprouts
- 1-2 slices red onion
- 1 -2 slices tomato
- Avocado spread - mash avo with onion powder
- 1 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup
- 1/4 Mango - cubed
METHOD:
Slice your Portobello in half length wise to create your bun. Spread mashed avo on bottom bun, and tomato paste on top bun. From the bottom up layer lettuce, tomato, red onion, sprouts, and mango.
